Sugar Magnolia Homestead grew from a lifelong dream of creating a warm, welcoming place where people could find beautiful things for their homes, thoughtful gifts, and unique collectibles.
Every shelf in our little shop has been thoughtfully arranged, and every order is packed with care before it leaves our hands. We believe shopping should feel personal, friendly, and welcoming. We want every customer to feel at home.
The Story Behind the Name
The name Sugar Magnolia comes from a very special place.
It was inspired by my late husband, Darrin, whose favorite Grateful Dead song was Sugar Magnolia. He would often sing it to me, and over the years it became a reminder of love, laughter, and happier times.
After moving to our homestead, the very first tree planted on the property was a magnolia tree in his memory. Today it continues to bloom each spring, reminding us that beautiful things continue to grow, even after life's hardest seasons.
Today, the magnolia tree stands as a reminder of where this journey began and the inspiration behind the name Sugar Magnolia Homestead.

Although the shop is small, it truly is a family effort.
From preparing the shop and building displays to helping bring new ideas to life, my family has been there every step of the way. Their encouragement, hard work, and support helped turn a lifelong dream into something real.
